ABOUT

The name of this practice is inspired by the belief that when we lead our lives with love—for ourselves and for others—we unlock the potential for growth and healing in countless ways. My passion for this work stems from a genuine love for and curiosity about the human experience. The most important relationship we have is the one with ourselves. Like any meaningful connection, it requires time, care, and patience to nurture. Getting to know ourselves is a lifelong journey, as we are constantly evolving.

In my free time I love to run and be outside. I adore seeing any type of live music ranging from jazz to house music. I love getting dressed. I am a firm believer in when you like what you are wearing, you are going to have a good day. This might mean wearing a ball gown to the grocery store or feeling super confident in a pair of sweatpants and an awesome t shirt. Doesn’t matter what it is, just how it can make you feel.

I understand the challenges of navigating mental health both professionally and personally. My own journey, along with supporting loved ones through their mental health struggles, has profoundly shaped my approach to therapy. While these experiences have brought their share of challenges, they’ve also instilled in me a deep sense of humility, empathy, and compassion. I draw from this personal understanding to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered on your path to healing.

At the end of the day, I believe it all boils down to the human need for survival and connection. We are all worthy of love and acceptance. This work all starts with learning to truly accept and love ourselves. Sometimes we aren’t given the love and acceptance we need as kids. We might not have had someone model what love and acceptance looks like. That is what makes this work so hard. It will look and feel different for everyone. Together we can figure it out. Everything is valid, there are no wrong answers.

I believe that everyone can benefit from mental health support. Whether you're seeking therapy to address a specific challenge or are uncertain about your goals but feel drawn to explore, I am here to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and accepting space. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported exactly as you are. Together, we can work toward a path of growth and healing that feels authentic to you.

Therapeutic Space

  • Relationship

We will work to build a strong therapeutic relationship built off of safety, trust, compassion, and no judgement.

  • Individualized Care

I want to get to know you and your goals for counseling. I want to know how your identities and life experiences have shaped who you are. I will work to tailor my approach to fit you and your needs.

  • Evidence Based Techniques

Together we will explore coping skills and your strengths so that you can focus on utilizing them to create safe change in your life. I use mindfulness based interventions, CBT and DBT techniques, as well as psychodynamic approaches. My approach is trauma informed.
